At this time of the year where I live, there is an abundance of avocados in Ohauiti reserve. Today with the high winds many are dropping. Normally they are not easy to get. You either need to be a good tree climber or have a long pole or stick with a hook or cutting device. I thank God for the strong winds today.

I am reminded of the power of the Holy Spirit which came at Pentecost with the sound of a mighty rushing wind. The Holy Spirit also brings abundance into our lives. When we a born again of the Spirit the abundance of the kingdom of God is ours.

Jesus indeed said, "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).

Some feel if they have reached 90 they have had a long life and that they are too old to consider the abundant life promised by Christ. However, for a person at such an age with little time remaining who has not been born of the Holy Spirit, the truth is they are 'too old not to learn'.

Time is short. Please share this with one old person you know. My prayer is they will truly experience a long rich life - eternal life with Christ.
